BY UNIT-I

(1) Ms. Vatsa Heera presented her excellent slides on “Leh-Laddakh” on 08.06.2007. Convener was Ms. Raj Rani. (2) A Slide Show on Valley of Flowers was presented by Sh. S.S. Heera on 06.07.2007. Convener was Sh. M.M. Jain. (3) Drawing and painting competition for Junior Members was held on 07.07.2007. Mr. R.S. Suman, Ms. Prtima Srivastav and Ms. Raj Rani were conveners.

BY UNIT-III

A family picnic was held at India Gate on 14.04.2007. They also enjoyed boating there. Sh. B.D. Sharma and Sh. K.L. Sharma were the conveners. (2) Talk on “How to live a healthy life” was organized on 21.04.2007 by the convener Sh. K.L. Sharma. (3) A beautiful Slide Show was presented by Sh. Ashoo Sharma on Triba Life of Chhatisgarh on 11.05.2007. Convener was Sh. Ashok Aggarwal. (4) An evening get-together at Central Park, Connaught Place was held on 16.06.2007. Sh. Anil Kumar was the convener. (5)Dr. Mohd Shaukat, Jt. Director of NACO delivered a talk on Aids and its prevention on 22.06.2007. Sh. Anil Kumar was the convener. (6) Sh. P.K. Israni presented his slides on Andaman & Nicobar on 20.07.2007. Sh. B.D. Sharma was the convener. (7) A Slide Show on Flora and Fauna of Himalayas was presented by Sh. Hemant Kataria on 17.08.2007. Sh. Som Nath Pal was convener. (8) A Talk on “Yoga Bhagai Rog” was held on 21.09.2007. Sh. K.L. Sharma was the convener.

BY THE STATE BRANCH

(1)Dr. Ved Brata Manchanda an eminent yoga expert delivered a talk on Keep Fit by Yoga on 15.06.2007. Sh. Mhavir Prasad was the convener. (2) Delhi State Branch organized the Founding Day Celebrations as usual on 14^th July 2007. Dr. Harish K. Saxena, National Chairman was the chief guest and Ms. Nishi Rawat, Deputy Warden was the guest of honour. Members from Delhi State numbering 200 were present and enjoyed the cultural evening. Refreshments were served to all persons present there. (3) Himalayan Trekking Expedition-2007 to Urgam Valley was organized for the first time in the month of August 2007. Total number of 152 from various states i.e. Maharastra, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Karnataka, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh successfully completed the trek under the expert guidance and active support of  Sh. Som Nath Pal Programme Director, Sh.Anil Pathak, Field Director, Sh. Ashok Aggarwal, Co-Director and Sh. B.D. Sharma Co-Director. All of them rendered their voluntarily services.
